This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, high volume Assistant Manager.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, your knowledge and experience will vastly contribute to the opening of this new venture. Having exceptional man- management skills you will also possess a love for quality food and service.
Hospitality and catering qualifications are a distinct advantage. Previous Management experience is essential.
The basic duties will include:-
- To assist the Restaurant Manager and deputise in their absence
- To Assist in the Co-ordinating of the entire operation of the Restaurant during scheduled shifts
- Preparing of reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
- Managing staff - recruiting, training and motivating of the staff. Organising and supervising the shifts of kitchen, waiting and cleaning staff.
- Meeting and Greeting customers and organising table reservations
- Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety
- Maintaining the licensing objectives in accordance with Legislation
